The 2024 Lab Analysis program will be focused on analysis of the artifacts from the past three years of excavations at the overseer's house, where we will focus primarily on the analysis of ceramics and the conservation of iron artifacts to better understand the interactions between the enslaved community and the overseer.

Participants in our expeditions come from a wide variety of backgrounds and a wide range of ages -- from 12 to over 80! Children 12-15 are welcome to participate with a registered parent or guardian in the Lab Program. These programs are a wonderful opportunity to create a memorable parent-child experience. Participants aged between 16 and 18 years may participate without a guardian present.

In accordance with Montpelier's COVID 19 Events & Programs Policy, vaccinations are required for all program participants.
