Montpelier is Offering Special Tours January 13-15
During Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend, Montpelier will be offering tours 10 AM-3 PM. The schedule is:

- Cost: Lectures are free but registration is required
- Add-on Tour: Conviction and Conscience House Tour @ 3:00pm for $20/person - In this specialty 45-minute tour of the House, explore how and why James Madison's convictions led him to pursue the establishment of religious liberty in this nation. Trace Madison's thoughts and contributions from his earliest days drafting the first Virginia Declaration of Rights to the passage of the Bill of Rights and the First Amendment.
Sunday-Monday @11:30: "Journey from Slavery to Freedom Tour" - Guided walking and driving tour will visit historic sites near the mansion as well as the Gilmore Cabin and the 1910 Train Depot.
